The state of Andhra Pradesh is working to improve its brand image, thanks to the proactive measures taken by the government, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated following the recent World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos.
During a press interaction in Amaravati on Saturday, Naidu highlighted that the conference served as a vital platform for the State Government to showcase its commitment to positioning Andhra Pradesh as a prime destination for investment.
The Chief Minister acknowledged that certain ‘vested interests’ were engaged in misleading campaigns regarding the outcomes of the Davos meeting, particularly in relation to new investments. He emphasized that the Andhra Pradesh delegation’s visit allowed them to connect with global investors and stay informed about the latest trends and preferences in multinational investments.
This year’s conference prominently featured discussions on green energy, green hydrogen, and artificial intelligence (AI), which Naidu believes hold significant potential for development within the state.
Additionally, Naidu had a meeting with Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, and requested support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to help achieve the government’s goals across various sectors.
