On Monday, a troll attempted to publicly shame Shikhar Pahariya, who is rumored to be in a relationship with Janhvi Kapoor. However, the 30-year-old businessman had a fitting response ready for the troll.
Some individuals in the creative industry do not hesitate to clap back at trolls and impart a lesson in their own distinctive style. Shikhar Paharia, who is speculated to be Janhvi Kapoor’s boyfriend, recently demonstrated a similar approach. Last year, he shared some photos with Janhvi Kapoor and her pet dog on social media in celebration of Diwali. While these images garnered a lot of likes, one user left a casteist comment in the comment section, prompting Shikhar to respond.
The user wrote, ‘But you are a Dalit.’ Shikhar did not let this comment slide and decided to respond on Monday.
In response to the user’s comment, Shikhar delivered a poignant reply. He posted a screenshot of the comment on his Instagram story and wrote, ‘It’s truly saddening and disheartening that even in 2025, individuals like you with such regressive and narrow-minded views exist. Diwali symbolizes light, progress, and unity, concepts that appear to be beyond your limited understanding. India’s strength has always stemmed from its diversity and equality, principles that you have obviously failed to grasp. Perhaps instead of spreading negativity, you should focus on educating yourself because, at this moment, the only thing truly ‘untouchable’ here is your mindset.’
Shikhar’s Diwali post conveyed warm wishes to all. He expressed, “Our heartiest wishes to you on Diwali. May the arrival of Lord Rama bring a year filled with light and prosperity, may good triumph over evil, and may we always find the strength and wisdom to choose the path of righteousness. Blessed are those who can help, uplift, and protect the needy.”
While Shikhar Pahariya’s name has long been associated with actress Janhvi Kapoor, the duo has yet to confirm their relationship publicly. They have never addressed the rumors openly, but they are frequently spotted together, showing support for one another.
