As the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2025 is set to take place at the end of January, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has adjusted their exam schedule accordingly. The Class 12 board exams, which were originally scheduled to begin on February 1, 2025, will now start on February 10, 2025.
This decision was made in response to concerns raised by schools, parents, and local representatives about the limited time available for students to prepare for the board exams, especially with the JEE concluding at the end of January. The Goa Board took these concerns seriously and rescheduled the exams to give students more time to adequately prepare.
The revised schedule for the Class 12 board exams will be from February 10 to February 24, 2025. Most exams will be three hours long, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while some selective exams will be two hours or an hour and a half long in the morning.
It is important to note that the Goa Board has stated that exams will not be postponed, even on public holidays. All schools have been instructed to prominently display the circular regarding the new exam dates.
For more information, students and parents can visit the official website of GBSHSE at www.gbshse.in. Additionally, the JEE Main 2025 will be held in two sessions, with the first session likely to take place in the last week of January and the second session in the first week of April 2025.
