Fiona O’Leary, an activist from Ireland who has children with autism, has dedicated years to raising awareness about the hazards of a toxic bleach solution marketed as a cure for autism. She is concerned that the upcoming conference in Miami will act as a platform for Kalcker, allowing him to further establish his influence in the United States.
“Andreas Kalcker has been administering bleach to autistic children for several years,” O’Leary, who has closely monitored his actions, told WIRED. “Kalcker is not a medical professional. His method for treating autism involves administering chlorine dioxide, which is bleach, effectively poisoning autistic children. These children are made to consume this harmful substance throughout the day and endure painful bleach enemas. This is nothing short of child abuse.”
Kalcker has yet to respond to a request for comment.
The tickets for the two-day conference, occurring after a charity golf outing also organized by Ward, range from $50 for basic access to $2,300 for VIP attendees, which includes hotel accommodations and access to speakers.
Ward, who claims to have visited Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort multiple times, gained notoriety online in 2020 for promoting conspiracy theories related to Covid-19 and QAnon on YouTube before being banned from the platform. Currently, Ward primarily livestreams on the alternative platform Rumble, where he is a verified user with over 200,000 subscribers. He has strong connections within Trump’s circle, having hosted former Trump adviser Roger Stone, Flynn, and the current nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel, among others.
Stuart Leary, the conference director, informed WIRED that most attendees will be coming from the US, but approximately one-third will travel from other countries. Leary estimates that between 900 and 1,000 individuals will attend the event.
When asked about the possibility of Eric Trump speaking alongside his wife, Lara Trump, Leary stated he was unsure. However, in a recorded conversation shared with O’Leary, the activist, Leary mentioned that he had “heard unofficially that two [members of the Trump family] will be there,” adding that they were not disclosing that information publicly due to security reasons.
Leigh Dundas, a California lawyer who gained notoriety for promoting Covid-19 conspiracies and participated in the January 6 Capitol attack, will also be present. Additionally, Sherri Tenpenny, an anti-vaccine advocate known for her claim that the Covid vaccine makes individuals magnetic, is set to attend. Tenpenny is also known for asserting that vaccines cause autism.
Scott McKay, dubbed the Patriot Streetfighter, is scheduled to speak as well. He streams on Rumble and has been involved in local school board debates regarding mask mandates while promoting QAnon theories. McKay has a history of disseminating deeply antisemitic conspiracy theories, including allegations that Jewish people orchestrated the September 11 terrorist attacks and the assassinations of multiple U.S. presidents. He frequently propagates the long-standing myth that Jewish individuals torture children and consume their blood.
In 2023, McKay was barred from speaking at another conspiracy-laden event at Trump’s Doral resort following media exposure of his antisemitic remarks. That event was part of the ReAwaken America tour, a traveling conspiracy spectacle organized by Flynn, populated by Christian nationalists, election deny-ers, conspiracy theorists, and several members of Trump’s family.
