Religare Enterprises has directed its subsidiary companies to begin the process of removing former executive chairperson Rashmi Saluja from their respective boards. This decision comes after Saluja was ousted as director by the company’s shareholders following the Burman family acquiring a controlling stake in the company earlier this month. Additionally, Religare has also instructed its subsidiaries to remove Rakesh Asthaana, retired DG of Border Security Force, from their boards and committees.
