The Competition Commission has approved the merger of nine entities – SRL, Viyash, Symed, Appcure, Vindhya Pharma, Vandana, Vindhya Organics, Geninn, and SV Labs with Sequent Scientific Ltd. Sequent Scientific Ltd provides APIs, finished dosage formulations, and analytical services for the animal health sector. Its subsidiary, Sequent Research Ltd (SRL), is a contract research organization.
NDR InvIT Trust has acquired a Grade-A industrial and warehousing portfolio for Rs 706.1 crore. The portfolio, located in Surat, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Pune, adds 2.01 million square feet of high-quality assets to NDR InvIT’s portfolio. The properties are fully operational with 100% occupancy and a weighted average lease expiry (WALE) of 15.4 years.
JK Tyre & Industries has secured a $100 million sustainability-linked loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The funding includes $30 million for JK Tyre and up to $70 million for its subsidiary, Cavendish Industries Ltd (CIL). The loan will support the expansion of passenger car radial (PCR) tyre capacity at the Banmore plant in Madhya Pradesh.

Wendt (India) has received an intimation from its promoters, Carborundum Universal Limited (CUMI) and Wendt GmbH, regarding a potential divestiture of up to 37.5% stake in the company by Wendt GmbH through one or more transactions in the secondary market. Wendt GmbH has also entered into a Trademark Assignment Agreement with Wendt (India) to transfer ownership of the ‘Wendt’ brand and trademarks for 3.8 million euros.
