Hexaware Technologies has announced a partnership with the San Francisco Unicorns cricket team that will run through the 2026 Major League Cricket season. The IT solutions provider will be an Official Partner for the Bay Area team, with Hexaware branding featured on players’ helmets, caps, and perimeter signage.
On the NSE, Hexaware Technologies Limited was trading at ₹812, up by ₹11 or 1.37 per cent at the closing bell.
The objective of this collaboration is to enhance fan engagement through Hexaware’s technology solutions. Hexaware CEO R Srikrishna expressed that the partnership will bring innovation to the dynamic world of cricket.
San Francisco Unicorns co-owner Anand Rajaraman noted that Hexaware’s dedication to innovation aligns with their vision for the future of cricket.
The announcement comes as the Unicorns gear up for Major League Cricket’s third season, set to commence in Summer 2025. This season will mark the league’s debut hosting matches in the Bay Area, with games slated to take place at the Oakland Coliseum.
During the previous season, the San Francisco team advanced to the championship final with a lineup that included international cricket stars such as Pat Cummins, Finn Allen, and 2019 Cricket World Cup champion Liam Plunkett. The team is led by US all-rounder Corey Anderson.
