MRO-TEK Realty Limited has officially changed its name to Umiya Buildcon Limited effective February 18, 2025, following approval from the Registrar of Companies, the company announced yesterday, February 20, 2025.
The name change is part of a strategic shift to expand the company’s focus in the real estate sector while maintaining its existing networking product business. The “UMIYA” brand, which has established presence in infrastructure and real estate across cities including Bangalore, Goa, and London, was chosen to enhance market visibility and credibility.
According to the company, the MRO-TEK brand will continue to be used for networking and electronic products. The wholly-owned subsidiary, MRO-TEK Private Limited, will remain central to the networking product business operations.
“The new name reflects our growing emphasis on the real estate sector,” the company stated in its regulatory filing. Aniruddha Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director, has been actively involved in infrastructure and real estate business under the “UMIYA” brand for many years.
