Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the Lok Sabha on Saturday regarding the ongoing discussions surrounding the 75th anniversary of India’s Constitution.
On December 13, the Lok Sabha began a two-day debate to honor the Constitution’s adoption, which marks a significant milestone in Indian history.
The debate witnessed passionate speeches, including remarks from Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Rajnath Singh opened the discussion by emphasizing the Constitution’s historical importance and its crucial role in shaping both the governance of the nation and its standing on the world stage. He reflected on the extensive deliberations that led to the Constitution’s creation, highlighting how it embodies India’s civilizational values and addressing attempts to politicize its legacy in recent times.
