The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to announce the schedule for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2025) Session 1 and 2. Aspiring candidates can expect details regarding registration, admit card release, and examination dates to be released on the official NTA website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
In a recent notice, NTA revealed that the Section B option will no longer be available in the JEE Main 2025 exam. This change was initially introduced as a pandemic relief measure in 2021, but moving forward, the exam will feature only five numerical questions per subject, all of which are mandatory. Candidates are advised to stay updated by regularly visiting the official NTA websites for any new updates.
The JEE Main exam is a crucial step for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other technical institutions, and it is conducted in two sessions. Additionally, it serves as a qualifying test for the prestigious IIT JEE Advanced exam.
NTA has designated jeemain.nta.nic.in as the official website for the 2025 exam. The agency is expected to release the NTA exam calendar for 2025 ahead of schedule, similar to the previous year when it was published on September 19.
The Goa board has expressed concerns about the proximity of the JEE Main 2025 exam dates to the board exams, stating that there may not be enough time for students to adequately prepare. As a result, it is likely that the JEE Main 2025 exam will be held in the last week of January.
According to projections, the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 question paper will be released in February 2025, followed by the opportunity to challenge the answer keys. The final results are expected to be announced in the same month, following the trend from previous years.
